Looking for an easy way to spice up the design of your website’s internal pages? Stop pasting images randomly throughout your content. Give your page titles a professional creative touch. Here’s what I’m talking about:
How Does It Work
First, in the page.php file, use conditional logic to check to see if a featured image has been uploaded. If it has, wrap the entry title within a custom container. Embed the post thumbnail (featured image) in the same container.
Next, I’ll add some CSS to the stylesheet. The title needs to be positioned absolute in order for it to appear on top of the image.
Voila! Awesome custom page titles.
